Cookie Policy
Veleristo uses cookies and similar technologies in a measured, transparent way that is always subject to your consent. This section describes in detail what we do, how we manage Google Consent Mode v2 and how you can change your preferences at any time.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a site stores on your device to recognise you on later visits, remember preferences and measure usage anonymously. There are first-party cookies, managed by veleristo.com, and third-party cookies, managed by services such as Google.
2. Types we use
We use essential cookies to maintain the session and security; analytics cookies to understand which materials are read most; advertising cookies linked to Google Ads when you accept their use; and personalisation cookies to remember your language and visual preferences.
3. Google Consent Mode v2
We implement Google Consent Mode v2 with all values denied by default. This means no Google marketing or analytics script runs until you provide explicit consent. If you reject, Google receives only minimal signals with no advertising identifiers.
4. Banner and preferences
On your first visit you will see a banner with four options: accept all, reject all, open the preferences panel or save a custom selection. Your choice is stored in localStorage and is applied automatically on future visits.
5. How to change your decision
You may change your preferences at any time from the 'Manage cookies' link in the footer. If you clear your browser or cookies, the banner will appear again on the next visit and you can choose anew.
6. Lifetime
Essential cookies last for the duration of the session. Analytics and advertising cookies have a maximum lifetime of thirteen months, in line with European recommendations. Personalisation cookies expire after a year or whenever you manually clear browser data.
7. Contact
If you have questions about cookies or Consent Mode v2, write to privacidad@veleristo.com. We are available to explain any technical point.
